I'd say Texas has a small chance. That's because I'm picking upsets this weekend. In the Bedlam game, it's in Stillwater, and OSU has a more talented team than they've had in years. They will beat the Sooners by a score of 35-31. But the bigger upset will come in Lubbock. Oh, Tech will have their offense running like always, but their defense will fall completely apart against Art Briles' Baylor Bears, and the Red Raiders will actually lose, 45-42.

So Texas isn't completely dead yet. Hook 'em, Horns!!

So Mizzu lost to Kansas and that will drop them in the polls hurting Texas SOS. OU is trailing OSU early right now, and Tech won. I think no matter what Texas is screwed out of the Big XII champ game so Im going to say go Ok St. We may not get into the National Championship game but if OU loses they arent in a BCS game and we will be.

What will happen if OU does win, but only by a couple of points, like 2 or 4? will Texas get a berth?

Thats what we want. If Ok St wins Tech goes, but the way this game is playing out it's not looking bad for us. We want OU to just barely win, then hope the pollsters remember 45-35. Come on Ok St but not too much just keep it close.

"Come on Ok St. what happened to ya? Stop Brown."

The final score doesnt show how close of a game it was. OU pulled away but the majority of it was close. Interesting to see what the voters think.

GO HORNS

I thnik taht Texas played very well this year and had a very hard schedule. In the end the beat Oklahoma and narrowly losss to Tech. I'd as soon they flipped a coin for the big 12 championship but I am afraid that if Tech with the route to OK won the BCS would not pick Tech for the championshiop game. But if OK gets picked by BCS they will have advanced over Texas for no real reason. If they had gone by points spread that would just have e ncouraged running up the score and not allowed second stringers to play which is not good for collsege football. Style points is really silly IMO.
