Alabama's QB has made great improvement this year but I still look for Texas to beat 'Bama for the title.

I hope I am wrong because, while I am not a fan of Alabama, I am REALLY not a fan of Texas.

Texas reminds me of that old saying; "I'd like to buy them for what they are worth and sell them for what they think they are worth."
^^^^^This is exactly why I don't make a living as a gambler!!!

Michigan vs. Washington - Michigan gets the Natty. Hate for this scenario where the Harbaugh brothers could win the National Championship and the Super Bowl in the same year. It's possible.
So far this has aged well. However, Washington looks like it is running on all cylinders while Michigan looks a little gassed this late in the season. I'll stick with Michigan winning it all but won't be surprised if it goes the other way.

Do you believe that Texas would have had a better shot against Michigan or this Washington Team can beat Michigan?

Texas passing game wasn't on par with Washington's passing game. Evers didn't look in synch with his receivers. Texas running game was pretty good. They should have kept running the ball to set up the passing game. Washington is looking good although their running game didn't do so well against Texas. I am sticking with Michigan but Washington will be game for an upset. I am glad two undefeated teams are in the CFP.

If Washington connects on several deep passes against Michigan, they have a good chance. If they don't, they don't. The run game is sporadic and Dillon Johnson got injured at the end. Their defense makes some plays but has gotten pushed around too much.

That said I won't be surprised if Washington wins a miracle at the end. It's not logical to predict that, but maybe the gods have decreed it since most of their games go that way.

It'll be interesting to see a match of two teams that use so much pre-snap motion, and whose defenses have therefore seen a lot of it at practice.

Correct. Penix, his receivers, & his O-line were the difference in the game. Plus the Husky corner back breaking up that last end zone pass as time was running out.

Best bowl game so far.

Penix made about seven throws that most QBs are lucky to do once or twice in a game. He even ran successfully. He looked like a Heisman winner.

Michigan’s Special Teams might be its downfall. They were fortunate to get past Alabama.

Having said that, I’d be happy if Michigan wins the Championship.

Michigan is usually pretty solid on Special Teams, if not pretty good. Their kickers are always good, don't usually miss extra points or too many FG's, but they have been shaky fielding punts lately. You gotta remember that ST players other than kickers are mostly backups, so they are typically not the best players on the team. I don't think we'll have a repeat of very poor ST play by Michigan, but they can still make mistakes. But didn't Washington also muff a punt last night that led to a TD? These things happen in college football, they are not pros, so it's always possible.
