You keep coming up with stuff to rip on the conference you wish you were in.

Looks like Johnny Football put his foot in his mouth. It must be really humiliating for the Heisman Trophy winner to get benched after acting like an idiot. Thanks for the black eye you gave to your team and the
Aggie Faithful.

The question isn't whether or not Manziel has character issues - we already knew he has poor character, but rather can Sumlin control the wild child.

Like it or not, I think Manziel is humiliation-proof. It would be better if he cared just a bit more about his image.

You are probably correct. He is painting a big target on himself with all of his jawing and stupid on-field antics. If he keeps this up, I'm sure there will be a growing number of defensive players who would love to knock the hell out of him. It is fine to be passionate about the game, but do it with class.

I defend Manziel, but I don't like much of what he does. I have children his age. My kids would never do the thinks he does. But maybe they would if they were that famous?? I hope not.

But some seem so eager to villify him when compared to what so many 20 year olds do today - he is a brilliant athlete that competes fiercely. He entertains football fans, and his teammates want to play with him.

Last weekend he did only one thing wrong - committed a stupid unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. It cost A&M 15 yards. It was no worse than a face mask penalty or pass interference. In a tight game it would be more significant. I hope he doesn't do it again. He threw eight passes, six were completions, and three of those were touchdowns. That's why he is on the field.

Yeah. It has a lot to do with the media blowing things out of proportion. The last guy to get this attention was Tebow and people got tired of all the articles of how great of a player and guy he was. People like to complain. Aside from a couple teams they'd all take him as their QB in a second.
