Props to WKU! I can see an intrastate david vs. goliath mathup ending like this moreso than I can ULM beating Arkansas. But again, ULM had Auburn on the ropes in an eerily similar situation.
But intrastate teams can sneak up on another more powerful team as in the case of James Madison stopping UVA a few years back.
The WKU game kind of demonstrates, along with AU's 1-3 record, Ole Miss getting shellacked by TX, and ULM stopping the Arkies and scaring the devil out of AU that the SEC might not be as strong this year. I think it's a top heavy conference with Bammer probably looking at an undefeated regular season. LSU could be right up there with them again. Gosh I hate those two teams!
