Gator fan here, first off WELCOME TO THE SEC! I'm VERY excited to have Texas A&M and Mizzou in the family and looking forward to some great competition! I'm just curious, by y'all being in the SEC west and South Carolina as a permanent cross rival! The schedule is going to be brutal enough! I'm aware of the history of the rivalry, but do y'all still want to play Texas on a yearly basic, or would just want to meet them in a bowl game or do y'all care less?

Can't speak for aggie fans, but Texas has almost no interest in playing those whiners again. Much of the Big 12 apparently feels the same way. Ask your Coach Boom what he thinks about A&M.

But referring to the University of Texas as "TU" puts you on the same level of juvenile smack as these guys in the fake army:

Think of them as the Texas version of Mississippi State.

Y'all are welcome to that cult.

I don't have a prob with the Texas Long Horns, but as a Gator fan, I can't call Texas, "UT", out of respect of Tennessee! And I'm VERY excited to have A&M and Mississippi State is a good team!

On this forum we talk about college football, not endowments, education requirements, ROTC issues, etc. Football-only!
