3rd straight big bowl game loss by the SEC. It's more hype than substance nowadays. Bama is good this year though. That's about it.
Oh, I get it.
After the TCU victory, you start to get a bit lippy.
But after Bama gets DESTROYED by the Buckeyes... the whole SEC West is garbage.
Good for TCU though. We'd all like to see them play the winner of this next game for the real championship. But, I guess there's always next year.
Speaking of next year, it would be nice to see some of these other conferences start to schedule in some cupcakes from the LOWLY SEC West!
Anybody? Who ya got? Who besides K-State and Sam Houston has the balls... er... is game?

yes, bad year in bowl games: over rated I think you are wrong. There have been so many upsets this year, not just the SEC, over confident maybe?

Interesting what happens when the SEC has to actually win its way into a national championship game instead of being placed there by the media.
Over confident? Uhhhhh........

I do find it a bit "fitting", let's say, that in the last year of the BCS era, an SEC team loses the championship game and in the first year of a playoff of some kind, there's no SEC school in the BIG game at all...

2-5 in Bowl games by the self proclaimed best division in football.
Nobody outside of the SEC ever believed that hype.
