I will NEVER rent from Surf or Sound again!!! Worst company on Hatteras Island. The office staff is just plain rude! No customer service whatsoever. The house we rented was filthy and took 9 of their office staff to clean it and a professional furniture cleaner. I have been vacationing on Hatteras Island for over 20 years now and have never had such a poor experience as I did with Surf or Sound. Try Hatteras Realty, Sun, or Midgett if you want to have a great vacation and be treated properly. Surf or Sound photos do not match their properties. They are so deceiving!
