My 24 year old son just got a job in Greenville, N.C. with Hagemeyer on Howell St. He will be looking for an apartment to rent at first. Does anybody have advice on what area to look in or a specific apartment complex. We are from Greenville, S.C. and have never been to Greenville, N.C.

My son rents an apartment in the complex directly behind the Best Buy. Best Buy is on Greenville Blvd. He has no complaints and says no one bothers him there.

I lived at the Pointe at Wimbledon for three years and really liked it. Rents were pretty high there, though, compared to other places in town. It did have a nice pool and decent amenities. The renters were mostly young professionals or grad students.

View Winterville, NC Subdivision - Dudleys Grant

If he is going to be living here for awhile, he might as well put his money into a townhome, condo, or house. And, for a young professional, I recommend something like Dudley's Grant, off of Fire Tower Road. I have included a link above. My gf lives there and loves it. There are a number of places currently for sale and they are finishing up building a new section. Would be worth a look.
