What else is new?

Complaining about media sensationalism is really getting old. We all get it. Yawn.

Getting tired of it.

This afternoon the weather channel just blanket put that every hour of the day tomorrow will be thunderstorms. I have noticed they do this. Then as the hours tick by they change the forecast.

So basically they lie about the potential forecast and fix it about 1 hour before it actually happens.

When your weather forecast can't even be close to accurate... media sensationalism is out of control.

If you live in Lawn Guyland, why are you complaining about hurricane coverage in the Coastal NC forum? When you live around here, you don't have the luxury of ignoring hurricane coverage--and it was a Cat 1 when it made landfall. Lots of tree damage, tornadoes here and there, widespread power outages.

I live in Coastal Carolina have have lived here for 5 years. This is my 4th Hurricane, all category 1 when landing. This hurricane is the first where we lost power. On Long Island we lost power in a heavy rain. By the way We never evacuated for any of the previous hurricanes.
God bless your heart for your assumptions regarding others!

Canals LB I have been aware of you for years as a “straight shooter “. I also lived in Long Beach back in the 80’s and now in my mid 60’s and retired I dream of joining you down there. Stumbling block is my bride who wants to be closer to family. Dreaming for a cold winter that will turn her.

Maybe you should change your location in your profile if you live in NC now. It still says Long Island.

Your location says Long Island.

You didn't lose power during Florence? Lucky you.
