We're from NJ and moving down to Leland in August. We can't wait, and everyone we met has been great. We share your love for Wilmington.
People anywhere will resent newcomers who come in and say "the way we did that back in...". Remember you are coming to their town, and they like things just the way they are. That's exactly why we are moving. We don't like the way things are done up here, and look forward to the life.
You'll also run into newer residents who would love to be the last ones in the door. They will complain about growing traffic & congestion. I hope not to turn into one of these cranks.
