11 foot isn't huge. That's a normal adult.

Google may say 11 feet is normal for an alligator but my two eyes and three decades on water up and down coastal NC and countless gator encounters tell me it's huge.

Maybe in your neck of the woods up but in East Lake an 11 footer is average.

My favorite NC gator picture is this one walking across the road in Brunswick county:

Does anyone know where the alligator was found on the beach? The address it was by? Wonder how close it is to the house we stay at.
