Is this the number you've been calling: 1-866-461-4096
here's the NC web site. Maybe you must log in/register?

yes that is the number, Ive tried everything I can think of. Its very strange it goes to their automated system and when it connects you to a customer service rep, it basically just disconnects you. Ive tried for 5 hrs now

I just called the number myself. Of course-It's an automated phone system. I got as far as I could without having an account.
Did you enter your 16 digit number? You can also enter your SS number too.
I don't know what else I can do. I got as far as I could with the system without having an account. I'd suggest you contacting Social Services or which ever office you initially applied through.
I'm praying for you!
Bill

lol I appreciate you trying, I have googled the subject all day and was able to find out, if you just wait on the line without putting info in , it will send you to a rep as well. However same issue, no rep ! Very frustrating .. especially when you have worked 8 yrs at a company to earn this money and now that you need it because they have closed, you cant get it when its on your card !!
