I am moving to Wilmington, seeking residence for Sept-Dec (fall semester) as I am attending UNCW for IMBA program which allows me to spend spring semester abroad (in Spain). Need advice on best place to live for this semester, all suggestions/advice welcomed as to places to avoid, etc.

** Seeking quiet/professional atmosphere. Away from undergrad noisy/partying students!

Depending on your budget, you might consider one of the extended-stay hotels. The one on New Centre Drive looked new and nice. The one on Eastwood Road looks more basic, but it's about $36/night for a 4 month stay.

You might also check Craiglist for short-term possibilities.

You might also see if any of the beach houses at Wrightsville Beach or, if you don't mind driving, Topsail Beach would take a long-term renter for the Fall semester.
