The past 20 years have been primarily positive in terms of LGBTQ+ rights, but as tolerance and acceptance increased (along with communication technology), there has been a general decline in the need to concentrate together. In the past, gay clubs, bars, gyms, coffee shops, book stores and other physical establishments were more plentiful and co-located to help gays have a safe, comfortable space to meet one another and socialize.
Right, the tolerance and acceptance has increased thanks to social media as well as laws being passed for members of the LGBTQ community. But, some members on here act as if Cleveland is so close-minded and unaccepting for people who live different lifestyles as if we're so behind the times. Sometimes, I wonder who's really behind the times, us or them? We're not San Fran but we're not Alabama either.

No, not at all...I've come across no homophobia anywhere in Cuyahoga County.

I do wish we had a few gay bars/clubs on the East Side...I like Twist and the new development at Studio West 117, buts it not convenient to get to from the Hts...and not much parking around it either. I miss that aspect of Columbus.

After these past couple of winters, I wouldn't worry too much about the weather, for reference I only needed to shovel once this year. It really has just felt like an extension of fall/spring.

Also there are smaller homes available, I live in Westpark on the west end of Cleveland proper, and my neighbor's house went for around $185,000, plenty enough space for a garden too so I wouldn't count it out just yet.

I believe the OP was saying that Oscar was the only Exchange (a la Healthcare.gov) plan currently accepted by CC Main (the 'mothership' in east Cleveland). I just looked and was surprised to see that appeared to be correct.
