I've never heard of either company, but it's refreshing to see a rust belt city be on the receiving end of a merger.

Definitely is. Transdigm is a giant that seems to operate very quietly.

Default Sherwin-Williams nearing proposal requests for new headquarters and research center

Will the parking lot on Public Square finally be developed? The delay in developing this prime real estate may actually benefit Cleveland by providing the city with a 21st century building reflective of new urban, technological, environment, and social developments that were not of concern two decades ago.

It's interesting that Sherwin-Williams charter may lock its headquarters into a Cleveland location. I wonder if it can be amended.

<<Reportedly, SHW's charter directs its principal offices to be located within one mile of where the company was founded in 1866, roughly where SHW's Breen Technology Center is today at 601 Canal Rd.>>

NEOtrans: New Sherwin Williams HQ plans may stir by 2020

Default MetroHealth unveils "hospital in a park" plan

MetroHealth's redevelopment could be another boon for Ohio City, both providing improved health services but also residential demand.

I wonder how the highly competitive Cleveland Clinic eventually will respond with upgrades to its Lutheran Hospital on West 25th St.

Lutheran Hospital is one of Greater Cleveland's SEVEN CMS five star rated hospitals. Several, like Lutheran Hospital, are members of the Cleveland Clinic system.

Default Cleveland Clinic to build a new hospital in Mentor

In a way, this is a waste of Greater Cleveland health resources given the presence of two nearby Lake Health system hospitals. It also may be the death knell for the Lake Health system, especially if the Clinic Mentor hospital draws substantial emergency room business away from the Lake Health hospital system.

Lake Health may be forced into the hands of the University Hospitals system.

The new Market District Lofts are coming to Ohio City's refurbished United Bank Building -- That stately Roaring '20s, Beaux-Arts former bank office building in the heart of Market Square that serves to frame the area. This comes courtesy of MRN.ltd, developers of E. 4th Street and U. Circle's Uptown District -- not a bad track record, eh?
