I'm a record collector in Lafayette. Time to reduce the size of my collection!
I have duplicates of many of the records I offer. Time to let these go to the new
generation of vinyl enthusiasts. Great deals compared to collector driven eBay inflated pricing.
There is no room at my place for a garage sale so while the weather is nice in the spring I set up at the Flea Market
which has covered walkways, tons of parking and a food court. The nice thing about hosting a garage sale at the Jockey Lot...
Rain or shine! Great place to spend an afternoon. Main thing for me is the parking... and they have beaucoup.
I have a box of free records, mostly grandma stuff like Bing Crosby, Doris Day and Roger Williams. First come first served.

Cover does not have song titles on the front and has ads for other lps on the back, labels have "Bands 1 through 6" (see photo).
Goldmine Price Guide for records claims this Mono 1956 record release has a $400.00 value IF the record would be Near Mint.
The record I have for sale is solid VG+ which would justify %50 of market value, according to Goldmine Price Guides.
$200.00 is what they claim this record is worth in this condition (VG+)
I think it is fairly well established that Goldmine is deluded. They list Doris Day records at $40, so yea.
The link below shows what the market will bare. Those are collector driven prices
sold at auction by tenured, established record dealers who actually grade records.
I'm breaking out some Zydeco records and other Louisiana musicians. Some of the Clifton records are still sealed!
