Is anyone interested in a ride/share commuting situation? I am going to be working in Nashville starting in late June, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and would like to share a ride with a fellow commuter(s) close to Exit 11.
Please let me know if anyone's interested in carpooling on a regular basis.
You might also check out the Nashville MTA website. They do a "match" for carpoolers. You fill out an online form and they try to match you with someone with a similar commute. I'm not sure how well it works, but it might be worth a shot.
There is already some vanpools/carpools from Clarksville to Nashville. I used to know a couple of people who were in a vanpool. Apparently, that can be "loads of fun" if you happen to get a van where people don't actually like each other. One of my friends told a story about two of her fellow vanpoolers. One always wanted the heat on, and another person always thought it was too hot. One would turn the heat up, the other would roll down the window in wintertime. Oh, what fun.
