I have 27 acres .. dead end of the road privacy.. area of large custom homes.. 12 miles from downtown.. 5 minutes to Lake Shasta..
hot here in the summer... rain in the winter.. (I retired form SOCAL as a policeman and moved up here) but Redding is still "the other california".. but its changing .. rapidly.. you actually see minorities here now.. didnt see any just a couple of years ago.. what you wont see are gangbangers grafitti or drivebys
my place is available... split potential.. killer shop(s)... nice modular..commercial style kitchen... land has been brushed and manicured to parklike conditions, seasonal streams, pond potential, great views, 1/2 mile driveway
500k.... if split one day 5 acres are going for about 250k per parcel (obviously it takes some work to make property splittable)
You can buy a nice tract home here for 350k.. and a decent older country home on small acreage for 350k
