My wife and I are moving to Maine in about two months. I will be going up in late April or early May to find a home, and we will move up within two weeks after. I am looking for a good sized house with a little land maybe (no realtors) for lease or lease option. We are looking around Bangor or to the NW of Portland. I have to be within a 45 minute commute. My wife is disabled, I work in security but would not mind changing fields. We have no children, so schools are not a concern. I need help to find a home and suitable employment. We are tired of South FL. crime, crowding, hurricanes etc. We are encouraged by the postings about Maine, and cannot wait to move there. Any help provided will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You may be able to get more info if you check the Maine forums. There is a lot of info there. Also do a search on the towns you are looking at. I hope all goes well for you.
