Hey everyone! Maybe you all saw threads like this one before. I found some but many of them are threads between 2 cities only or include very large cities as well. Let me start to define what does middle size cities to me, I'm looking for cities with over 50,000 and under 250,000 inhabitants. Some of you might think "Hey 250,000 is too much for a middle size city, or 50,000 very few." You can call them in the way you want, but these are the cities that I'm interested in. Now, what do I mean by a lively downtown? Well I'm interested in cities that have plenty of localy owned shops and restaurants, diverse leisure options, VERY WALKABLE, cultural activities, etc. I think you get it. I'm not planning on moving very soon (I'm currently in Las Cruces, NM), but I eventually will, so I'm hoping to make a list of potential interesting cities. Weather conditions are not a factor to be taken under account at all to me. I lived in very cold, and really hot places. Thank you very much to everyone. I hope to get tons of cities out of this thread, especially some hidden gems. If some cities that you have in mind are slighty larger or smaller in terms of population, please include them anyways.
Thanks a lot.
