Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, CA: 1,020,837
Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach, FL: 678,271
Chicago-Naperville-Joliet, IL-IN-WI: 412,359

San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, CA: 338,346

Looks like DC is the one people missed the most

I did the CSA's (adding together things like LA and Riverside, San Fran and San Jose, DC and Baltimore, etc).

NYC: 1,660,313
LA: 1,219,540
Miami: 678,271
San Fran: 538,948
DC: 431,671
Chicago: 412,359

After that the numbers for the rest of the CSA's dropped off a lot down into the ~200K range for a lot of cities.
The flaw in this link is that it only counts the number of people who have obtained permanent residency-it doesnt count those who have not yet received that status. So there are many who are not included in these numbers.

I don't know about the whole U.S. but Texas is really getting immigrants. San Antonio, Houston, Austin, El Paso, West Texas, the Coast, the Hill country, the Valley, it's all getting lots of immigrants
