What are the most transient cities in the United States??

I would not consider Houston or Dallas a transient city. If you notice, most the cities suggested are hype cities that have been receiving so much publicity and the media makes them out to be more than they are. Houston receives little to no publicity and most of the people that move here don't expect much and end up being surprised at what the city offers. Same with Dallas.

Yes, I KNOW that. They are the transient ones. But I maintain that the bulk of NYC residents have lived there most or all of their lives, vs. newer, faster growing cities.

DC, NYC, LA, SF. One easy way to tell is just by looking at the people. Here in DC, everyone is so young. I don't see many older people in the actual city outside of rush hour. They all live in NoVa or MD.

Transient doesnt always mean that people move somewhere because of money, Miami is ranked high on this poll because almost half maybe even more of the population werent born in Miami yet alone America.

hampton roads in virginia, not area has more people not from there. i mean the military is in hampton roads deeper than any where else in america.
