So does the one in Dubai, it's not that original. Plus, if I remember correctly, it as designed by Calatrava, and pretty much everything he does looks the same.

the developers that designed the commerce center aren't minor; they made the international commerce center in shanghai. and the only reason they haven't started on it is because you need a major lease signed to a building before construction, once that happens it's all systems go. i say build it!

NYC has so many more cooler under construction buildings than Chicago. Taller too!

Really hard choice between 1 Wtc and the Spire, but I'll go with 1 Wtc. I like the base of ACC, and I like the idea for the top, but theres something off with it that makes me not like it.

Its going to be cool to see all of these new modern designed buildings in such historic skylines giving it a unique mix.

Why is everyone still calling it the Freedom Tower? Its called One World Trade Center.

1. Names stick
2. Its 10x catchier/tackier than 1 WTC
