Anchorage. (Actually a better skyline than most for its metro size, probably due to it being the only larger city within thousands of square miles).

Anchorage or Santa Ana, CA?

Baltimore. It’s especially impressive from the harbor.

Fort Lauderdale. The water makes everything better. It’s currently experiencing a boom too. South Florida is an absolute monster. Doesn’t get enough credit. The people dismissing it as empty condos are probably just jealous that their city's skyline stinks.

Austin or Columbus?

Austin or Columbus?
Austin has exceeded this peer group in terms of having an impressive skyline. Ten years ago Columbus would have had a chance.

Portland or Cleveland?

I must be one of the few who doesn't think Austin's skyline is that impressive.

I'll take Cleveland. Portland's skyline is among the worst for a city of its size. Sacramento, San Antonio, Phoenix, San Jose, even DC also come to mind for very underwhelming skylines.

Speaking of underwhelming skylines, Boston or Houston?

We can agree with these lacklusters, especially Boston. I would choose Houston for its more impressive towers and expanse.

Phoenix or Detroit?

Detroit. Phoenix is short for a city it's size, plus it's so drab looking.

Miami. Very nice skyline for a nice metro.

Nashville or Cincinnati?
