Going with Memphis for this one. The pyramid is a nice north end of the skyline cap for Memphis.

If Memphis built just a handful of towers in the 200-400 foot range to add density and stretch out the skyline, it would have a much stronger one pretty fast.

Norfolk is good, but still on the smaller side.

Des Moines vs Hartford?

Hartford based on density and architecture.

Grand Rapids, MI or Little Rock, AR?

Although Little Rock looks more compact and less gaps I went with Grand Rapids because it has 2 or 3 buildings that are really cool. Pittsburgh or Kansas City?

Pittsburgh. The skyline is classically stunning. The architecture and confluence of waterways and the dramatic topography also add to Pittsburgh's skyline.

San Jose, CA or Arlington, VA?

Arlington. While neither are particularly inspiring San Jose is a street level city, not a skyline city.

Fort Worth, or St. Petersburg?

St. Petersburg wins. The skyline is really nice and the city is building some impressive towers. Tallest outside of Miami. I am excited to see St. Petersburg's continued evolution.

Boise, ID or Mobile, AL?

Mobile AL. The RSA Battle House Tower is stunning and gives Mobile a very unique look.

Peoria, IL or Toledo, OH?

Toledo, OH gets this one. Major Ohio cities have skylines that are pretty dense and tall for their size, due to their fast growth during the 1940s until the 1980s or so.

Knoxville, TN vs Lexington, KY?

Lexington. A little more dense and I really like that tall blue building. Bellevue WA or Newark NJ?

I do love Bellevue's Cascade backdrop, but almost all of the buildings look the same. I will go with Newark for its architecture.

Colorado Springs vs Fresno?
