Thanks Marat will try and remember it starts with WA sound. Very pretty area, hilly and nice trees, some lovely spots to visit.

I just love the way folks who never been to Arkansas like to slam Arkansas. Just remember Arkansas is home to Wal-Mart and Dillards. Arkansas is the only state that has a Diamond Mine. Little Rock is one of America's the best kept secrets, it's a very pretty city. Plus what other state has a town called Toad Suck? Arkansas has everything!

I have seen the sign for Toad Suck on our travels through the state anyone know how it got that name? No intention of slamming Arkansas but original question was Which is better so people stated opinions but can be done without too much negativity. Most places have some good or desirable qualities just depends on what you are looking for..........

Feel free to explain your reasoning and any experiences/stories you may have between the two.
I have lived most of my life here in Northwest Arkansas (Fayetteville,AR), except for a 5 year period of living in North Carolina (Outer Banks & New Bern). Although NW AR is lovely- I miss NC CONSTANTLY! FYI the only places I would ever recommend living in AR are NWA (Fayetteville, Bentonville, Rogers) or Little Rock.

Livability- Both. I know that does'nt help much.
Weather-NC.Has seasons but milder ones.
Culture- NC
Entertainment-NC
Beauty- Fayetteville AR is beautiful, but NC wins with a wider variety of landscapes.Beach AND Mountains.
People- I found it easier to make friends in NC than NWA despite growing up here.
Overall-NC
