Let's face it the South is Rising and with that comes new buildings, which building in the south stands out the most by being the most innovative, most awesome, or just plain beautiful.

Any building or Southern Architectural Gem you want to point out?

Describe only 1 building in that City

#5 Memphis , Memphis Pyramid, unique for a southern city
#4 Nashville , The Pinnacle at Symphony Place ( Nashville's newest tall building)
#3 Oklahoma City , Devon Tower-Spectacular
#2 Dallas , The Black building with Green Neon light that you see in Night time Dallas Photos

#1 CHARLOTTE, DUKE ENERGY TOWER, BEAUTIFUL! .seems like something from Chicago

I'd go with the Schermerhorn Symphony Center over the Pinnacle.

.... that's the Bank of America Plaza. Also, it's blue, not black.

As far as this thread goes, are we talking ALL buildings or just skyscrapers?

Trust me, I've seen it plenty. I like it, but it's not even my favorite skyscraper in Dallas. It's Comerica Bank, for me.

But if we're doing any building, then allow me to throw my city in the ring.

Tarrant County Courthouse, Fort Worth
