California now has 6 cities in the top 30, up from 4. Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Sacramento and Riverside.

I would say, there is always a reason to verify:

Real GDP from BEA (Different than the article)

Gross GDP (raw number) from BEA Web site, also different than article

Baltimore is up only one spot, but the its peers in failure: Detroit, Cleveland, and St. Louis are down 5 to 10 spots.

Well it has dropped two spots since 2010, so it looks like it is getting bigger and less wealthy relative to other cities.

Idk where they were getting some of their numbers from but as another poster pointed out, they are a bit off from the 2010 numbers GDP numbers. Phoenix for example is different.
