I am partial to warm weather, so I recommended the ones I did. Your A/C bill might be high is you are home all the time.
You mention Albuquerque NM. I don't know much about it. Looks wise and amenities wise, t is a "midpoint" of sorts between Denver and Reno, from what I can deduce. I don't think it's expensive. The weather is definitely toward the dry.
So of those I'd probably focus on Austin or Louisville since the others can get pretty pricey. You didn't explicitly state you have to remain in the U.S. If you're open to leaving and work online anyways you might look into Korea. Their internet speeds are unheard of, their transportation is superb and COL is very cheap if you're making a U.S. salary so you're minimum wage can go a lot further over there.
I'd put in a vote for Louisville then too. It is a nice city.
