Stop trying to make LA look seem like an urban paradise. We all know the reason LA has the worst traffic in the country, it's because all those inland empire people making 60 mile commutes everyday and night. So spare this talk of "much more dense"
Never said it was an urban paradise. But it is at least twice as dense as Houston. I've only been Houston's freeways once but LA's roads are a sh*t show.
having visited Houston multiple times (grew up in San Antonio) and now living in LA, I can guarantee that LA has worse traffic than Houston. At least the weather is much more tolerable
Would agree, one thing Houston has is an abundance of huge highways and many less people much more spread out.
In terms of traffic I would think SF/DC/NYC/Atlanta would all be worse (than Houston, LA to me is consistently the worst on a macro level but all cities have their nasty spots) based on my experiences with their traffic.
LA is pretty crazy with traffic, part of the culture. Not just car culture but backup culture
