Well, based on the traffic between LA and Palm Springs, which is hell on earth, I would probably pick Country Cub Hills, IL--looking on the map, it looks much closer to Chicago and that's a plus for me.

Also, Its really hot in Palm Springs, but the scenery is to-die-for. Its a great weekened getaway definitely but Id probably rather live somewhere like Country Club Hills.

What are you asking? For many of us, we have never heard of Country Club Hills, Is that a resort city in Illinois? What are you comparing? I think you better come up with some criteria or the mods will shut this thread down.

I live in downtown Chicago part of the year and I swear to gosh I have never heard of Country Club Hills. And also as dumb as it may sound but this is the first time I've heard of Palm Springs, California too.

I do know of a Palm Springs, Florida.

Yeah Palm Springs is really nice kinda like a Scottsdale in a way with the resorts and shopping and all but your only like and hour from LA and San Diego isn't too far.

Country Club Hills is a major resort town in the Chicago area with many golf areas, outlet malls, and new upscale million dollar homes. It has a quite rep but is a very nice resort town with a good mix of 5 star restaurants. Bobby Flay from the food network even has a small bar & grill there.

Traffic problems. Yeah, that's the reason why folks are paranoid about coming here.. south of Chicago and east I-57.

Actually, it's black people but let's just pretend it's traffic problems.
