Say that we took some of the extra-large cities in the U.S. (and their metropolitan areas) and reduced them to a small fraction of what they are, which cities do you think they'd most closely resemble? Here are the scales...

New York - 1:10 scale model
Los Angeles - 1:8 scale model
Chicago - 1:5 scale model
Philadelphia - 1:3 scale model
Houston - 1:2 scale model
Dallas - 1:2 scale model
Phoenix - 1:2 scale model
San Diego - 1:2 scale model
