I think LA is AAAA worthy on the U.S. scale, it would be a little different if it was global scale.

I'd almost put Austin up from 2AA to 1A, but that's just me. Sadly, we are still pretty regional though.

I so like this better than GaWC rankings. But I wonder why Washington DC isn't ranked with Los Angeles and Chicago!

I think for the first three tiers it displays accurately whether it be for economic power or overall.

all the 1-* tiers look accurate to me.

not really.

all the 1-* tiers look accurate to me.

there are several 2-aa's that are up and coming... but others not much movement above that.
Government jobs have done well for the city in times like this, their growth and economy overall have fared much better than majority of the cities out there.
I would just have thought it would be on a higher tier. But I guess not.
