who came upon Mary, the Holy Ghost or God the father?

I think the Holy Spirit is the father of Jesus and not God the Father.
how do you explain this?

I think the term Ghost is explained as the aura of someone. Therefore Holy Ghost and God the Father are the same. God moves, literally, by the Holy Ghost.

That is what I believe.

Just when I thought that I have read it all. You make this thread.

The Holy Spirit and The Father are one.

What next, that Mary actually created Jesus.

I am just explaining what I believe the Bible says. I love to read and study the Bible. I also use it in my spiritual life. I don't believe it is literally applying to any today, as it was written then. Every book carries a message. So does the Bible.

For me the Holy spirit is just another manifestation of the one true God.

He was manifested as the father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in the Church today.

Does this mean you believe in a trinity of gods making one God... or do you believe that God is all forms thus having the characteristics of each.

I don't see the trinity as taught in scripture.

The following is copied and pasted from (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...5:7%E2%80%938;):

1 John 5: 7,8 NIV
7For there are three that testify: 8the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
Footnotes:
  1. 1 John 5:8 Late manuscripts of the Vulgate testify in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. 8 And there are three that testify on earth: the (not found in any Greek manuscript before the sixteenth century)
And I believe this causes much confusion in the church, which also brings along these honestly asked questions (ie, the OP).

I believe this also. The bible says God is Spirit. The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit. It`s the part of himself that he gives to all believers. It is how we are unable to know and relate to God. Now, a question could be,what is spirit? How do you define spirit? I`m not sure I know but that is a question for another thread.
The bible says his Spirit moved over the face of the deep during creation. It says the Spirit of God overshadowed Mary. People throughtout the NT are overcome by the Holy Spirit. The Holy spirit came down upon Jesus at his baptism. So it seems God does move by the Spirit because he is Spirit.

the Holy spirit the second person in the godhead
and the son was the third person and the godhead.

Read your bible, then you will understand.

The Holy Spirit is a part of Jesus.

There is only one God, three roles.
