The completely unwarranted absolute certainty in ANYTHING touched by the hands of man . . . especially the refusal to spend the time to gain the knowledge necessary to actually discern the inspired truth of God within the muddle of literal verbiage produced by humans. My temporary anger (it never lasts long . . . thanks Jesus!) is amplified by the misinterpretation of scripture that actually makes them PROUD of their literal certainty . . . thinking they are being reviled for their belief in Jesus . . . when it is ACTUALLY for their deliberate ignorance. I cannot understand the refusal to rely on the Holy Spirit and the unambiguous example and teachings of Jesus . . . or to simply filter EVERYTHING through His two PRIME commandments . . . "love God and each other" . . . period!

LUKE CHAPTER 4 Verse 22

All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. "Isn't this Joseph's son?" they asked.

This made a lot of people mad . So much they wanted to throw Him over a cliff.

That doesn't bother me because God said that this would happen. I don't expect anything else from atheists and nonbelievers, they are only doing there job. When they open there mouth, I smile because they don't understand spiritual things, and makes my faith even stronger.

This doesn't bother me either, because once again Jesus said some would be decieved. So, it is going to happen.

If I had to say what makes me mad, well, I think when some talk about the character of God, like one person on here calling God stupid, which shows how stupid they are. But that is only me.

If you had someone talking about your Father, it would make you upset, but you learn that some will die in ignorance, so I just laugh and go on.

If you read your bible, God tells you the things that will happen and the things to come. So, when it happens, I don't looked surprised, because God said that it would happen.

Agreed ... Sinners and unbelievers don't bother me ... It's the religious zealots that really get under my skin.

I agree with you here. All of those mega (and minor) churches the FALSELY taught the "Prosperity Message" of God blessing people with wealth, homes, cars, etc when they would tithes over and above the "requirement" And when the economy crashed, they said nothing and dropped the subject.

Has ANY of those churches that taught this ever apologize to their members? Has ANY of them saw God in this and repented to God for such a teaching? If you can't say you are sorry to the church members, you sure can't repent to God for the false teaching because they are the Body.

This is what ticks ME off!!!

It called "Selective Ignorance." They choose to be that way. Anyone reading the word of God and love him can't remain ignorant. God impart common sense and wisdom to those who love and obey him; all others he will allow to remain in their ignorance..never to remove the scales from their eyes..never hearing...never seeing
