I hear so many say that we are born in the image of God. That is a lie. Adam & Eve were born in the image of God, but the rest of us were born in the image of the devil because the first man and woman reached out for sin.
This is why "Ye must be born-again" (John 3:7). You must be recreated and taken into a Spiritual Garden of Eden. It's holiness or hell. It is your choice.
(Colossians 3:9-10) "...seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:"
(Ephesians 4:24)"And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."
Water baptism won't wash away your sins, nor will church attendance. You have to be recreated by the blood of Jesus.
Where in the bible does it say that we are born in the image of satan?
Shawn - study this scripture:
(Colossians 3:9-10)"...seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:"
God has a holy nature; that is His image; and, we too must take on this image to be a child of God. When we are born, we have no such image, as we have a sin nature -- which is the devil's image.
(Psalm 51:5) Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
I hear so many say that we are born in the image of God. That is a lie. Adam & Eve were born in the image of God, but the rest of us were born in the image of the devil because the first man and woman reached out for sin.
I believe that Adam and Eve were made in likeness of God, however, I don't believe that they were perfect. If they were perfect they would have never sinned. I believe that they were the the first in God's plan to become all in all in the creation. It is a process. "Let us be making man in our image" is what some translations have, from what I understand. When Adam and Eve sinned, death was passed onto us and this is why we sin. This condition or state was one that we were born into. This is not the result of our choice. This was our destiny before we were created and I believe that this was God's intention. For example, we are to know Him as Savior and we cannot know Him as Savior if we are in no need of a Savior. I don't believe that we are born into the image of satan, but that we are born in the death state and that this is why we sin and become enemies of God. The old man is carnal and sold as a slave to sin, but eventually this slavery to sin and death is to be abolished for all. I don't believe that our destiny is the result of our choice but that it is the result of God's choice, who is making man into His image. God bless.

I have studied the scripture but it does not say that we are born in the image of satan.

Your line of reasoning is condemning free will, which God has given to all. God did not know what Adam & Eve would do; He put complete trust in them -- and that is real love. Likewise, when we come to Calvary, Jesus does not look into our future to see if we will fail Him or not.
I would like for you to point out scripture that says that we are born in satans image, because it does not say in scripture that you provided.
There's sin and holiness. What other image is there? There is no in between.
