I need help here from the universalist

Refutation, Rebuttal, Exposition and Explanation of Universalism

There are many web sites that have articles refuting or exposing “universalism.” I have read many of them. Many of them do not know what they are talking about. Some just copy and paste material they have not researched themselves. Others are so brain-washed by fundamentalist or evangelical doctrines it is impossible to bring into their minds even the slightest piece of information that does not line up with what they have already been programmed to believe.

We believe that all men (and women) will eventually be saved ONLY because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, not because of any other way. We do NOT believe all religions lead to heaven. The way into Heaven is through Jesus Christ alone.

I have no clue what this means. Please someone explain because this sounds like circular reasoning.

Is this what you're having trouble with?

Yes, what exactly does this mean. Is not the end result the same?

Forgive me - it's crazy at work today - but I'm not understanding the question.

That's ok

"We believe that all men (and women) will eventually be saved ONLY because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross, not because of any other way. We do NOT believe all religions lead to heaven. The way into Heaven is through Jesus Christ alone.
"

What exactly does this mean? He says, they don't believe that all religions lead to heaven but by the statement above, isn't he saying just that?

Essentially, that all of man's will will be broken down by His undying love, so that men's hearts will have no other option but to accept Him.

We can see in nature the traits of dogged determination (think of the African hunting dog, who runs until its prey drops from exhaustion), and consider not that the God who created it is much more determined - and faithful.

Then my question is, why be a Christian? How does it benefit me? If I found out universalism is the right doctrine, then no kidding. I would head for the nearest strip club tonight and say, hi to some old friends.

The more trash you have in your life, the more He will deal with you. What brought you to Him in the first place?
