This is so stupid. None of these issues caused or have any relationship with pedophilia and the way some Bishops have handled, or
mishandled the abuse claims. None of these issues are relevant to corruption in the leadership. I'm all for holding the leadership accountable for their role in the sex scandal, and therefore reclaiming credibilty and a better "direction" for the Church in Ireland and abroad, but these other issues are irrelavant in respect to it. If only "dissident" Catholic priests and laity would only focus on holding the Bishops accountable for their handling of sex abuse claims, and stay away from these other liberal and divisive stances, then I would support them.
And the Apostles didn't devise their teachings by taking a survey.
