John 12:13

The crowd that gathered that day was worshipping Jesus by praising him as God and Jesus accepted it. They where quoting Psalm 118:25,26 when they said:

“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

John 12:13 "Hosanna" ... A Hebrew expression meaning “Save!” which became an exclamation of praise.

The word Hosanna was also their association
in Jewish hopes of deliverance by a political leader.
For which they had awaited their Messiah as King.

However, this part "The King 0f Israel" is omitted.
