I stand upon the rock of Jesus Christ. Jesus will meet you where you need him to be, he met the woman at the well when her enemies were upon her. He met the one who touched his garment amidst a confusing veil of people. He met the one who could not see, he met the one who could not hear, he met the one who could not speak, he has met the one who could do none of that.

He met and freed the man who could not come on his own. He met the one who denied him. He met the one who betrayed him. He has met the ones in pain, in suffering and the ones who were just minding their own business.

He has met them on his terms and others terms, he has and will meet everyone.

Jesus gave himself a ransom, and the almighty will collect what he paid for to be testified it in due time.

Jesus met me when I hated life, when I was alone in the crowd, when I was on top of the world.

Where did Jesus meet you?

Nice thread Phaze......Jesus has met me at every wrong turn, as well as every right turn in my life. He's always there to pick me up when I falter and to lift me up in my darkest days, and I have a lot of them. He is my all, my life, my everything and I don't know how anyone can live without him. Well yes I do know, and it ain't pretty. We're all lost without him, but praise God that Jesus came to be the Savior of ALL and that's exactly what will happen. His work was sufficient to save us ALL.

Amen! Hopefully this thread can stay more on track than the other one...
Yes Jesus Christ is the good news - who He was, what He did, what He stood for, what He taught - it is all good news. Good news does not contain bad news.

Luke 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

1 Tim 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people.

A second Amen, Phase!!
He took me out of a very bad situation, and drew me to Himself.
I can tell you today, I lie not, God knows. Without His intervention I would not be here today.
If He had mercy on me, I know He will have mercy on all, because I am no one great.

Blessings to all,
brian

For the record I am certainly not going to argue for or against a label in this thread. The good news of Jesus Christ is what I endeavor to hold dear in my life. I believe everyone benefits from meeting Jesus where they need to meet him. This does not mean someone must meet him as someone else will say they must. The woman at the well is not depicted as meeeting some religious standard, NO! Jesus saved her from the religious standard and met her right where she needed it.

My belief may be that this will happen for all, my hope certainly will remain that it is true, what I know in my soul is Jesus did exactly that for me, not on my terms, not by religions terms, but on his terms.

God is LOVE, if you have seen the Jesus you have seen the Father, LOVE, LOVE NEVER FAILS. if you have witnessed true love, if you believe that TRUE LOVE exists, then you believe in Jesus.
