i dont go to arcades or have a home system since I was like 14 (super nintendo)... but i will play it if i am there. video games started to disinterest me when i discovered this thing called girls. similar principle to a lot of things like camping gear, renting a movie i will only ever watch once, or even owning a car, i do it so infrequently it is cheaper to just rent it or borrow somebodies.

as for the food, i guess i'd just had bad experiences there, for the 6, would rather get a super sized burrito or a couple dogs.

They had an ESPN Zone in Atlanta, and from what I remember, the food was too expensive for the quality.

The big huge fun arcades can be fun to have around--especially racing games b/c you can actually sit in them and have a gas pedal and a gear shift/etc. On that thought what I wish someone would do would be to combine the best of the old world (arcades) with the best of the new world (current home gaming systems) to where when you play competitively you can actually meet people instead of using some stupid headset to talk to them.

Anyway, the other thing I'm going to miss, unless I can find another one, is a sports bar that has that room w/ the big huge leather couches and especially that uber gi-normous 8 foot tall TV. I've been to a few other sports bars but haven't found a TV that size or the couches--maybe there probably is I dunno????

Me, when my girlfriend begs and whines to go there.

I feel stupid sitting there, like I'm part of some ABC family movie.

This really saddens me, very much disappointed , i love this place! Hopefully, they can replace it with something just as entertaining.
It was ok and you hate to see something close. Used to go there on occasion in the early 2000s and it was fun, and had a lot of TVs with different games on, which was kind of unique for the times. But it honestly didn't offer anything that Buffalo Wild Wings, Jake Melnick's, or scores of other sports bars do now. Time just passed it by.

Truly the WORST meal that I ever had in Chicago and about 30% more than its competitors.

OF course if you live here you're not gonna be all upset about it, because these types of joints have always been for the tourists, or those younger cats that work in the Loop but commute from like the suburbs or whatever. A lot of the places lose their mystique after a while.

I've been to both ESPNZone in Chicago and Jillian's off Meridian in downtown Indy. I prefer Jillian's easily
