I recently accepted a job at UIC and am looking for housing for my small family (wife and two kids). We're hoping to find a 3+ bedroom in the 1,100 to 1,400 range, ideally with a parking spot. Edgewater seems like a good area to find this, although I'm a bit concerned about the commute. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, any other areas to consider are welcomed. Thanks.

it's about 45 minutes with the transfer via CTA from Bryn Mawr to UIC-Halsted, if it's a good day.
and don't anyone come and try to tell me it's not, because I do it most every day.
I should add, that it's 45 minutes during rush periods ... it's a little longer during off peak, but not too terrible.
