the Mid-City Transitway will probably be on the plate eventually. although I wish they were more interested in studying that than the Circle Line.

I really wish the Mid-City Transitway would be built, as someone who spends more than enough time on that side of town. Although I don't think a limited-access road for trucks(and which has also been proposed) would be a bad idea either, considered how congested with truck traffic Cicero Ave. is.

Harlem Ave., and Irving Park Rd. have major issues with traffic too, particularly at rush hour, and the traffic near the HIP is often bad. Least Naragansett, Oak Park, and Addison are all good alternative arterial streets to use. I will not get started with how bad traffic gets at the Harlem/Grand intersection, or the notorious 77th(?)/Grand and Harlem/Grand RR crossings. Isn't it time for both of them to be grade-separated?
