I wonder what type of people she is referring to...I didn't feel chicago had an overwhelming amount of "one type" personalities, social class or background... it is a pretty well rounded city.

Im sorry.. what I meant is the general mentality. City-people maybe. Nothing wrong with that... just has never been my cup of tea...way too busy

I can relate. I always thought there weren't enough "city people" in the small towns.

I have to admit, there is something a bit funny about moving to a city and then complaining that the people there act like they live in a city. It is akin to moving to the a cattle ranch and complaining about the smell of cow dung.
