Yeah, everything seems to be taking me in that direction. I guess where I'd really like to live is Oak Park,but have to live in the city. West Beverly doesn't seem especially cheaper. It seems buying in Beverly or West Beverly in my range is all about getting luck and finding a bargain.

I know a few smaller places (with large yards) around 250K in east beverly between wood and prospect. A lot of the old properties in the area are being purchased and fixed up by young couples, but in the current market there are still some very good deals, especially if it doesn't have to be in perfect shape.
