They were probably chasing the guys that stole a cop's gun earlier today after he was in his police vehicle paralyzed from a traffic accident.

I'm no Chicago Police Booster, but the moron should be locked away for a long, long time. Robbing someone who is helpless as a result of being injured in a car accident is the basest form of predatory mentality there is- I don't care how much disdain you have for the police.
Why wasn't it appropriate? Were they black dudes? Were they driving the car? It would only be inappropriate if you were lying, which you weren't.
In my opinion it's only offensive if you think being black is a bad thing. I don't so I say it freely. I've been beaten over the head for years though for casual references to race which others claim are adventitious to the crux of the story I'm telling. I'm retired from debating these issues, though. I'm busy enough with work and taking care of the kids.

I just got run off the road by some young black dudes driving about 110 miles per hour. Just behind chasing them was literally every cop on the south side. I counted over forty cars in all before I bailed.
