This website is actually quite good. you can search by the terms you want, the benefits you are looking for (cash back, frequent flyer miles, etc), and it lists the kind of credit score you need for each.
The options are not going to be as varied as they used to be 5 years ago only because credit card companies have become vary wary of being burned and have reduce credit limits and raised interest. If you can find a fixed rate option with a fair interest rate jump on it because more often than not nearly all will be variable rates now.

680-750 is "good" credit. Above 750 is "excellent"

Make sure you never carry more than 1/2 of your credit limit at a given time. If you do, pay it down or transfer it over to a credit card with a higher limit. If you have a relative with a great credit score that trusts you have them add you on to their account as a card holder. This used to boost your score dramatically but CC companies are catching on so it doesn't give nearly the boost it use to. maybe 10-15 points in the first few months.
