i read chicago is a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants, what does that exactly mean? is it that employers police etc follow the dont ask dont tell policy if you are illegally here?

Not only that but CPD officers are forbidden from cooperating with ICE. At least, that's the "official" line. I have talked to a couple of ICE agents who tell me the "official" line is BS and that the CPD does cooperate pretty freely.

its easy to hide here in chicago foran illegal cuz of thearge ammounts ofimmigrants from Mexico and Poland for an illegal to mix in with the crowds, plus its far away from the border so its notlike people will be on constant patrol for'em.

I love the Poles in my hood...they get drunk...sit on the curbs and sing as loud as they can. I am assuming it's cause their wives have tossed them out of the house. I have noticed too they are quite loud when they drink. Having frequented my local pub.
