Hi,

Does anyone know if the area close to 1440 West Hubbard is safe? The intersection is Hubbard and Noble ( Noble is further west than Halsted)..the only reason I'm asking is because I may be taking evening classes there...want to make sure before I sign up. thanks!

Not the tidiest part of town, but gentrification is about 75% complete. Not much likely to happen to you around there.

You are in much better shape driving than taking the CTA. What area will you be driving from?

From the northwest suburbs..I'm still a little skeptical about taking this class though (esp since it's something I'm planning to take for fun). am not familiar with the hood at all.
