My family went to Cincinnati for a baseball game and they had the best chili dogs you will ever eat! The bun was similar to a very soft donut without the frosting. It was amazing!
Cincinnati chili is freaky weird.

I've only ever had Skyline but it is oddly sweeter than it is savory.

Skyline may not be the best example of Cincinnati chili, but it is the style's biggest ambassador. If you've had it, you're familiar with the basics of Cincinnati chili. And it's freaky weird stuff.

Meh. My GF's relatives brought Skyline chili over to us this past summer. With the way they talked about it, you'd have thought you were about to take in the body of Christ. "It's so amazing!!"..Not so much. Then again, I'm not sure how a Portillo's chili cheese dog stacks up, but I'd prefer that.
